Rules for submission of scientific abstracts

The deadline for submission of abstracts is over.

1. Enter your abstract by clicking on Call for Abstracts at our home page www.10wcpm.info 
   
   
2. You will then be requested to enter your keyword and the ID you received by e-mail when you registered on line.
   
   
3. At least one of the authors must be registered at the event at which the abstract will be presented. Only people registered in the event and that have completed the payment of their fees will be allowed to present their papers.
   
   
4. No papers will be accepted unless sent as above.
   
   
5. The abstract must be in English. The authors may decide to present it orally in Spanish, and choose if they wish to present it in oral format or as a poster.
   
   
6. The abstract title must be brief, with no abbreviations, in upper case font and bold type. Upper case words must still have accents included when appropriate.
   
   
7. The author must select the appropriate theme that best fits his/her paper, so it can be evaluated by the appropriate committee.  All papers will be evaluated by an ethics committee.
   
   
8. The names of the authors are written in accordance with the indications in the form. State the name of the author that will present the paper at the Congress, since that author will from then on be the contact with the committee. Not necessarily should the leading author and the person that presents the paper be the same person. Please, also indicate who is the leading author. Omit any of the authors’ degrees, academic tenures or administrative positions. The form also requests you to include the institution where each author works, their cities and countries.
   
   
9. The abstract must be loaded directly into the web site form, which will enable you to use a Times New Roman 11 font. It may be typed directly in the field designed for that purpose on the page. If you use the cut and paste option to copy the text from another file, please delete any pre-existing format (headings, bold types, etc).
   
   
10. Abstracts shall not exceed 300 words. Important note: Each image included will reduce the number of words by 50.
    
    
11. The abstract must include the subtitles below (sections):
    

    A brief review stressing the objective of your work and its relevance.
    

    • METHODOLOGY: Briefly describe the materials and methods/techniques used (the rationales of the techniques should not be described if they can be quoted in easily accessible literature).

    • RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Present the experimental results obtained clearly, highlighting tendencies or issues of interest. Include graphs or tables as appropriate, and make sure they are clearly quoted in the text.

    • CONCLUSIONS: Briefly explain the implication of the results obtained.

12. When completing the contact data, we ask you to please register the author that will present the paper as stated above, the contact person that will receive all the announcements sent by the scientific committee.
