Simultaneous translation to Portuguese depends of the number of participants from Brazil and Portugal.
The local currency in Uruguay is the Uruguayan Peso, 1 U$S = $ 19,30. Most major credit cards are honoured in hotels as well as in most restaurants and other commercial establishments.
General Household electric power is 220 V, 50 Hertz.
It is possible to find various kinds of food in Punta del Este.
Most shopps in Punta del Este are generally open from 9 am to 7:00 pm Monday to Saturday. Credit cards are accepted. There will also be some special shopping tours organized by the organization.
