Congress General Information
Official Languages
The official language is English. Simultaneous translation to Spanish will be available during all conferences.
Simultaneous translation to Portuguese depends of the number of participants from Brazil and Portugal.
Currency
The local currency in Uruguay is the Uruguayan Peso, 1 U$S = $ 20,00. Most major credit cards are honoured in hotels as well as in most restaurants and other commercial establishments.
Electricity
General Household electric power is 220 V, 50 Hertz.
Restaurants
It is possible to find various kinds of food in Punta del Este.
Shopping
PUNTA SHOPPING, located 10 minutes by car from Conrad Hotel, it's a large shopping center with restaurants, cinema and a lot of shops.

Offers an exclusive shopping area where the leading international brands and the most renowned local brands are located.
Feria de Artesanos:
Located in the center of Punta del Este, on Avda. Gorlero, has more than 200 artesanos where you can buy from little souvenirs to leatherwork and jewelry.

The organizing committee can accept no responsibility for accidents or damage to the private property of participants. Please make your own arrangements for health insurance and any other insurance desired.

The 10 World Congress of Perinatal Medicine and/or its agents have the right to alter or cancel the Congress or any arrangements, timetables, plans or other items regarding directly or indirectly to the Congress without prior notice for any reason beyond their control.
